It started out innocently enough. Stephenie and I just wanted to burn a few extra calories so that we could have more weight watcher's points and eat pizza. Then, we decided that going every day was a good idea, and we'd do weights some days and elliptical the others. Jump forward to present day (two weeks later...) I go every single day. I alternate between days with 20 minutes of weights and 45 minutes of cardio and days with 65 minutes of cardio. I LOVE it love it love it. You could call me an obsessed fanatic. I love seeing the little workout summary...5.5 miles, 750 calories. It's sick really, and I have no intention of recovering anytime soon. Where did this addiction spring from? It might or might not have something to do with the adorable boy who I see there every day, but that's a story for another day...like the day I finally work up the nerve to say "hi."
Blog blog bloggidy blog blog blog.
For today's blog post, I have a confession to make: I am an addict. I don't know how or when it happened, but just like they say, I never saw it coming. I had previously decided that the behavior that I am now exhibiting was somehow unhealthy and weird. To me, it seemed like it was self mutilation, inflicting intense pain on oneself for no particular reason. Once an activity that I avoided out of sheer fear, I now think about during the day, and talk about at night with my friends. Yes, it is a true story. I, Brittany Hudson, am addicted to the gym.
